In order for the nitrogen generator to work at peak efficiency and purity, there needs to back pressure. This 1/4 inch tube connector has a 1.5mm orifice that allows enough nitrogen flow for welding and, at the same time provides enough back pressure for the nitrogen generator to provide pure nitrogen.
